Spectrum360 is committed to providing a level of service that exceeds and sometimes is simply not allowable by tuition, NJ Division of Developmental Disability (DDD), Medicaid, and NJ Department of Vocational Rehabilitation funding. As a result of this commitment, we actively fundraise for programmatic priorities, capital campaigns and our endowment.

Matching gifts occur when participating companies match the amount given by employees or retirees. The donor must make his/her gift and complete the company’s matching gift form. Some companies double or triple gift amounts. To find out if your employer matches gifts to Spectrum360, contact your Human Resources Department or ask the Spectrum360 Development Department to assist you.
Spectrum360 recognizes donors who have generously provided, or plan to provide, a gift through bequests, trusts and other life income gifts. Planned gifts allow you to make an impact on Spectrum360’s future and often provide retirement planning, estate, and substantial tax benefits. Spectrum360 welcomes gifts with a deferred benefit such as remainder and lead trusts, gifts of life insurance, or bequests in a donor’s last will and testament. Please contact the Spectrum 360 Development Department if you would like more information or to discuss such a gift.
Gifts of Securities
Transferring a gift of securities is an effective way to make a charitable contribution to Spectrum360. You can donate appreciated securities, receive a full charitable contribution deduction for the full value of the securities and not pay capital gains on the appreciated value.*
To transfer securities, please contact the Spectrum360 Development Office to request the account information for the transfer. If possible, please let us know the date the stock will be sent, the stock name and number of shares, along with any special instructions. Prior notification guarantees that your gift is processed, credited and acknowledged properly and promptly.
*We are not providing accounting or tax advice.
Gifts-in-kind are non-monetary contributions given for use at Spectrum360. The Development Office assigns no dollar value to these gifts but does furnish a gift receipt. It is the responsibility of the donor and his/her tax advisor to assign a value to this gift for tax purposes. A certified appraisal is usually required for items with values over $5,000.
Volunteer Your Time and Talents
The Development Department at Spectrum360 is only successful with the support of volunteers, including those who help with our special events, those on our Development Committee, and those who help us with various projects in the office and at home. If you’re interested in volunteering with the Development Department, please contact Laura Jennings at ljennings@Spectrum360.org or 973.509.3050 ext. 332.
