Academy360 Logo

Academy360 includes two NJ State Board of Education Private Schools approved for the disabled, providing Preschool, Autism and Behaviorally Disabled programs. We serve students, ages 3-21, with schools in Verona and Livingston, NJ. Formerly known as The Children’s Institute, Academy360 schools have been providing special education services in New Jersey for over 50 years.

Academy360 operates two schools: Academy360 Lower School, including a preschool, elementary, middle and secondary autistic classes and a 9th grade transition class, and Academy360 Upper School, a high school serving students ages 15-21. Additional programs provided include After-School, Respite and Adult Enrichment.

Together these programs develop academic, social, behavioral, communication, life and career skills for children, adolescents and young adults. We use a contemporary array of evidence-based strategies including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Differentiated Instruction and Universal Design to teach the “whole individual.”

CulinaryAcademy360 offers after school and adult enrichment programs teaching culinary skills for independence and exploration of culinary arts as a vocation. Created in September 2016, the program was developed to provide students, ages 14 and older at Academy360 and adults at Independence360, with the opportunity to explore food service as a career path, as well as increase their ability to live independently by learning to cook for themselves. CulinaryAcademy360 provides day classes to clients of Independence360 as well as after-school and evening classes for Academy360 and participants of Spectrum360’s Adult Enrichment Program. The after-school, Saturday, and evening classes are also open to individuals with autism and related disabilities who attend other programs and schools.
