ESY may be the official start to the school year, but September is when we all get back into the swing of our usual routines.

To prepare for the year ahead, we’ve assembled information on all of our important dates, events and opportunities for fun. Whether you want to attend a parent seminar, socialize with other families or start training for the annual Walk – we have the details you need.

Academy360 Lower School Family Events

At Academy360 Lower School we offer our parents many opportunities to socialize, share tips, receive information and – most importantly – have fun! To assist families drawn from over 90 school districts in creating a community of support and friendship, the lower school’s Spectrum of Connections and Family Fun Nights offer adults and their students an evening of dinner, socializing and entertainment. Adult Enrichment

Spectrum360’s Adult Enrichment evenings are a great opportunity for young adults and adults to have a fun night out with peers. The social and recreational program is available to current students, I360 clients, S360 alumni, and community members; all participants must be 18 years or older.

A pizza dinner, including salad and beverages, is provided for all participants, plus a dessert made by the cooking/baking class.

Classes take place on Thursday evenings during fall, winter and spring sessions. Recent offerings have included Team Sports, Fitness Club, Cooking and Baking, and community outings.

Class tuition is approximately $300, subject to change. Supervised aftercare, 3:30 – 6 pm., is also available for a fee to participants who wish to remain at A360 US.  To learn more about our upcoming Fall Session, contact Tynesha Cummings at tcummings@spectrum360.org

DDD Funding:  Adult Enrichment tuition may be funded via your child’s DDD budget under Goods and Services.

 

Spectrum of Options Webinars and Seminars

Throughout the year, Spectrum360 hosts a variety of webinars, workshops and events on special education, adult services and topics of interest to families and the community. Coming up on October 17th: “Understanding ABLE Accounts & Special Needs Trusts.” Information / Register.

Fundraising Events at Spectrum360

Come out and support Spectrum360, and have a great time doing it! We have events planned throughout the year for everyone to enjoy, from our traditional annual gatherings to social events such as Bingo Night, Spectrum360 on Tap, “Tennis, Lunch and Shmooze” and more. Details

 

FilmAcademy360 9th Annual Film Festival

The FilmAcademy360 Film Festival celebrates the creation of original films and videos by FA360 students filmmakers with autism and those with related challenges. Now in its 9th year, the film festival has become an important community outreach event and fundraiser.

The 2023 Film Festival will be held on Thursday, September 21 at the East Hanover AMC. Learn More

Fun and Games Alumni Nights

All current Spectrum360 students, Independence360 Clients, Alumni, and their friends (age 18 and older) are welcome to our monthly Fun and Games nights, featuring games (of course), music, food, and much more.
