PSO360 is the Parent-Staff Organization for Academy360 Upper and Lower Schools. Parents and staff come together to create enrichment events for all students across both campuses.

When the organization rebranded from TCI to Spectrum360, the PSO rebranded as well. We went from being TCIPSO to PSO360. With the new name came several new things. We became our own legal entity named PSO360, and we became a 501(c)3 and a non-profit organization. We were also able to open our own bank account (checks payable to PSO360) separate from the school’s major account. All of these changes reinvigorated PSO360! With a fresh Board of Directors, the PSO had a banner year with more fundraisers and exceptional events for the students of Academy360. And this year we are looking forward to even more!

The PSO raises money to provide enrichment for all students. The Pre-school and Elementary students at the Lower School enjoy a fun carnival. The entire Lower School enjoys a Holiday Shop each year where students purchase gifts for family and friends. The Middle School and High School students enjoy two dances a year with great decorations, off the hook refreshments, and great tunes to dance to. In 2018 the older students at the High School and Young Adult Program will live it up at a full-fledged prom! All student tee shirts for the ever-popular Field Day are paid for by the PSO. And we organize the student and class pictures each year.

We offer free family movies every month where we rent out the theatre. PSO members and their families and friends can enjoy a private screening of a first run hit movie. While it is not a “sensory friendly” screening, we have the theatre to ourselves so families can make themselves as comfortable as they need. We are pleased to have a strong alumni community that participates in family events. We also provide Academy360 staff with an Appreciation Luncheon during Teacher Appreciation week in May.

The PSO, which benefits every student, is currently having its membership drive. Starting this year, membership is free. We encourage all families and staff to join! It is a great way to get involved with the school and benefit our kids.

Members receive a Member Directory which lists member families by geographic area and by program/teacher. Many members find this directory to be invaluable in setting up play dates, birthday parties, and finding families in their area to connect with. PSO360 also publishes a Provider Recommendation Guide to help member families find information about recommended providers such as doctors, dentists, medical specialists, therapists, fun community activities, and organizations.

The PSO meets on the second Thursday of most months, and we notify members via email of all of our meetings, as well as enrichment activities and fun events. To join, or if you have any questions, contact us via email at: academypso360@gmail.com
