When Rob and Joanne Bothe’s youngest child, Luke, first walked into Academy360 Lower School as a first grader in the summer of 2012, it marked the beginning of anew chapter. After years of searching for the right educational environment, the Bothes finally found a community that could meet his unique needs. Spectrum360 provided not only behavioral and educational support but also the foundation for a full, joyful childhood.
Throughout their years with Spectrum360, Rob and Joanne have become tireless champions of our mission—giving back with creativity, energy, and heartfelt generosity. Each spring, they lead one of the largest teams in our Walk for a Lifetime, rallying friends, family, and local businesses around Luke’s journey. Even during the pandemic, the Bothes showed up—standing proudly in their backyard with handmade signs reading “We Support Spectrum360.”

They also organize the annual Golf Tournament at Metuchen Golf and Country Club—an event that began as a small idea and has since grown into a powerful tradition of giving. In 2024, the tournament raised $48,500; this year, it reached an astounding $72,000. “Every year it gets bigger and better,” says Rob. “People see our passion, they meet Luke, and they want to be part of something good.”
Their efforts extend far beyond these events. The Bothes have brought in partners like The Salad House and Alpha Fit Club, whose generosity has become a cornerstone of community support for Spectrum360. Their spirit of leadership and giving continues to inspire everyone in the Spectrum360 family.
