Spectrum360 is pleased to announce our 2022 Hall of Fame honorees: Jerry Partlow of Partlow Insurance; and Jonah and Ellen Zimiles. Awards will be presented at the S360 Hall of Fame dinner on Wednesday, November 16.

Jonah & Ellen Zimiles
Humanitarian Honorees

Spectrum360 presents the Humanitarian Award to an individual or individuals who have made a significant contribution to Spectrum360 and other organizations that support intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism. We are proud to share that our 2022 award recipients are Jonah & Ellen Zimiles.

For over two decades Jonah and Ellen Zimiles have dedicated their lives to advocating for the autism community. Their guidance and generosity helped establish Spectrum360’s adult program and its recent expansion which includes an Industrial Arts program providing prevocational training.

Jonah and Ellen have made service a significant component of their support for the autism community, in addition to their advice and financial contributions. After their son Daniel was diagnosed with autism in 1998, Jonah left his career in the legal profession to help care for his son and in 2009 the couple opened [words] bookstore in Maplewood NJ. In the years since it’s opening, [words] has provided job training and employment for dozens of young adults on the spectrum and valuable experience out in the community.

Ellen runs the Financial Services Segment at Guidehouse, a global consulting firm. Ellen was previously a partner at KPMG before starting and operating as CEO of Daylight Forensic and Advisory, which she then sold to the firm that is now Guidehouse. Prior to that, Ellen served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York.

Jonah joined the Spectrum360 Board of Directors in 2013 and has served as Vice President of the board since 2018. Their guidance and generosity led to the establishment of Spectrum360’s adult program and recently its expansion to include an Industrial Arts program providing prevocational training. His and Ellen’s kindness to Spectrum360 has created a pathway of hope for future generations in need of our services.

Jerry Partlow
Corporate Honoree

Spectrum360 presents the Corporate Honoree Award to individuals or organizations who have made an impact on Spectrum360’s mission through substantial charitable contributions to Spectrum360 or by attracting substantial contributions from other organizations. We are proud to share that our 2022 award recipient is Jerry B. Partlow from Partlow Insurance.

Mr. Partlow’s steadfast commitment to Spectrum360’s mission has provided the organization with not only valuable support through corporate sponsorships and charitable giving, but also has shared his expertise in insurance services which comes from decades of  working with the special needs community.

Founder and C.E.O. of the Partlow Insurance Agency, Inc. headquartered in Winchester, VA. with offices in Virginia and Midland Park, N.J., Mr. Partlow has more than 40 years of experience in commercial insurance and is recognized nationally for his innovative designs and development of Association related insurance programs for Non-Profit 501(c)3 organizations across the United States.

Mr. Partlow has served on numerous Non-Profit Boards of Directors. He is currently Chairman of the Board for Grafton Integrated Health Network and serves on The Children’s Guild, Inc. Board of Directors, headquartered in Baltimore and the Leary Educational Foundation in northern Virginia. Mr. Partlow was elected to three four-year terms on the Winchester City Council chairing the finance, social services and education committees.

Mr. Partlow’s decades-long partnership and friendship with Spectrum360 makes him an invaluable member of our community. His efforts on behalf of Independence360 and helping find employment for adults on the autism spectrum has improved the lives of many who have participated in our programs and has strengthened our organization.
