On July 10, 2024, Spectrum360 was honored to ring the Opening Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange in celebration of National Disability Pride Month!
Madison (Academy360 student) & Ted (Independence360 participant) joined by Tara Dziedzic (NYSE Head of US Listings) had the honor of ringing the bell. Lineu (Independence360) & Barnel (Academy360) were also there to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students, adults and the wider special needs community.

Traders and other stock exchange employees on the floor gathered beneath the famous balcony to applaud the S360 crowd as the bell was rung. The NYSE celebrated the occasion with bedecking the balcony and areas throughout the stock exchange with banners emblazoned with “Spectrum360.” Our delegation also attended a ceremony at which bell-ringers received commemorative coins in memory of the occasion.
In addition to our I360 participants and A360 students, representatives of Spectrum360’s leadership and board members were in attendance to enjoy this awesome experience: Executive Director/CEO Ken Berger, Dr. Danielle Taylor, COO; Kerry Guzman, Director of Development; Melissa Kuper, Head of Communications and Community Relations; Kim Rushmore, Director of Independence360; Principal Kelly Cue, Academy360 Upper School; Principal Tara Hayek, Academy360 Lower School; and Spectrum360 Board members: Adam Lipkin, President; Jonah Zimiles, Vice President; and Joseph Baker, Treasurer.
