Lexia Core 5: Lexia® Core5® Reading is an adaptive blended learning program that accelerates the development of literacy skills for students of all abilities, helping them make that critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn. Work is completed on a computer or iPad.

Phonemic Awareness: Phonemic awareness focuses only on the sounds of a word, while phonics focuses on the relationship of sounds and letters. In other words, it will be difficult for a student to develop their phonics skills if they don’t have a good foundation in phonological and phonemic awareness.
