As Independence360 continues to grow and evolve, strong, compassionate leadership remains at the heart of our work. We’re excited to introduce new members of our leadership team who bring experience, energy, and a deep commitment to our mission. Their vision and dedication will help guide I360 into its next chapter—strengthening our programs, supporting our staff, and ensuring every adult we serve has the opportunity to thrive.
Jason Wetzel, Program Director
Q: What inspired you to take on this role?
I wanted to help ensure I360 continues to be a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place for adults to grow. It’s a space where they can truly be themselves while working on personal goals and continued development.
Q: What makes you different as a leader?
I’m relatable, honest, and realistic. I’ve worked across nearly every part of the program—from running daily activities and job coaching to compliance—so I understand the full scope of what we do. That perspective helps me provide meaningful support and feedback.
Q: What are you most excited about in this new role?
Our staff brings incredible care and creativity every day. They create opportunities that empower our adults and help them feel secure while trying new things. I’m most excited about what we’ll build together next.
Q: What do you hope to learn?
I want to grow as an advocate and bring more attention to the value of programs like I360—so others can see the impact we see every day.
Q: What’s something your co-workers might say about you?
Hopefully that I have integrity and I tell it like it is.

Lumane Metullus, Assistant Program Director
Q: What inspired you to take on this role?
I’ve worked at Spectrum360 for almost eight years and closely with Jason Wetzel throughout that time. I’ve always admired the leadership here, and stepping into this role felt like the right next step. I hope to be a bridge between senior leadership and our program teams—and bring fresh ideas forward that improve our program flow and communication.
Q: What makes you different as a leader?
Relationships are a big part of how I work. I really value creating trust with staff and families. When people feel secure and heard, better ideas surface. I also bring strong organizational skills and a creative approach to problem-solving, which helps keep things moving and evolving.
Q: What are you most excited about in this new role?
I’ve seen the program grow over the last seven years and I’m excited to combine what’s worked with some new perspectives. There are so many great ideas across our team—I want to help bring those to life and explore new ways of doing things that benefit the entire organization.
Q: What do you hope to learn?
I’m looking forward to gaining more insight into financial planning, programming logistics, and fundraising—especially as we think about long-term growth and capital campaigns. I’m also here to listen and learn more from parents and caregivers so we can continue to improve communication and support.
Q: What’s something your co-workers might say about you?
That I’m a calm, dependable problem-solver. I’m good at thinking on my feet and keeping things organized while staying flexible when things shift.
