Spectrum360’s community partners are a vital part of our organization. Their generosity helps us continue to provide quality education and services for children and adults on the autism spectrum.

We’re grateful to count SWK Technologies among our supporters. The IT consulting and software solutions company, with corporate offices located in Hanover, NJ, has been a valued donor and fundraising partner since 2018.

Contributing to the communities in which its employees work and live is a corporate value at SWK Technologies and they enjoy participating directly with local causes through their foundation, SWK Gives.

Spectrum360 was brought to the company’s notice by an SWK employee with a son who is in the Independence360 adult program.

“We were immediately impressed by the uniqueness and thoughtfulness of the organization,” says Antonio Carrion, SWK’s Chief Marketing Officer.

SWK Technologies employees have taken part in our Walk for a Lifetime and the company has sponsored S360’s Hall of Fame dinner. Last year, SWK partnered with CulinaryAcademy360 to prepare and serve lunch at a SWK company meeting.

Also in 2019, SWK engaged FilmAcademy360 students to film executives and staff at the company’s “Empower Northeast Customer Conference.” At the conference, Antonio spoke of the company’s relationship with Spectrum360 and invited the business professionals in the audience to work with and support Spectrum360 through CulinaryAcademy 360, Independence360 and FilmAcademy360

These activities are invaluable for our students to get high-level career-related experiences in the community. Partnerships with companies like SWK help to create awareness about
Spectrum360 and autism.

Recently, Antonio and Selya Stone, SWK Chief Human Resource Officer, faced off in a “Steps Up for Autism” fundraising challenge to see who could complete the most steps.

“We wanted a physical aspect of a challenge that would attract possible donors. And it worked!” says Antonio. “We provided regular updates to how many steps were completed and got donors to join our teams. It was fun, and in the end, everybody won.”

The energetic duo completed over 68,000 steps in two days. “That’s 35 miles!” Antonio laughs. “Our feet hurt, but our hearts felt good.”

Over 50 people participated in the fundraiser. SWK matched the donations and together the group raised over $5,000 for Spectrum360.

Congratulations to Antonio and Seyla for their enthusiastic walking! We are so very grateful for SWK’s continued support. With their help, and from all our donors, Spectrum360 continues to thrive.
